Description

Getting to grips with computers  is run over six weeks as follows:

  • Stg 1 - two weeks
  • Stg 2 - four weeks

Computing today is a vital skill at home & at work.  Hop on to the computer highway & start your computing journey in a friendly environment.  From clicking on Start to Shutting Down, Saving  &  Surfing the net using everyday computer programs .  Discovery of the Internet & Email is part of this journey for new users.   Eliminate frustration & dispel the myths & fears surrounding computers.

Learners will be able to navigate using a mouse, enter, format & save data, send emails & surf the Internet .    Troubleshoot basic problems as well as differentiate between hardware & software, computer programmes and systems and understanding Windows & file management & more.

Target Audience

This course is suitable for those who is new to computers and is keen to learn from the very beginning. Students who have very basic knowledge will also find this course useful.
